Rio de Janeiro - #1

Our studio just finished photography for adidas' 2007 image library, in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. We drank a lot of caipirinhas and had some amazing Brasillian meals, and unfortunately we did not get to sit on the beach and work on our tans. We were there to work, and did we ever. Fourteen days on the project, with 6 intensive days of photography. Plus 2 all day flights. And a 4 hour jet lag. And I would do it again in a heartbeat. We worked with Hungry Man Rio for production, and they put together a great crew – one of the biggest crews I've ever had at 25+ people – and they rocked. Rio is a very strange and wonderful place and I'm itching to go back. ............ This image is the first from a small series of 'from the car' shots - it was taken in the warehouse district where carnival floats spend the winter.
