I was asked a couple of months ago to provide images for the winter issue of Photoeidolo Magazine - a 2x a year Greek fine art photography magazine. Anastasia from Photoeidolo found my work on the web (thanks Google) by searching for motion photographers. The winter issue just got off the press, and I received a nice surprise in my inbox this morning: one of my Utah Flash photos was chosen as the cover! From the article: "Photography and Motion: Motion is an important part of the work I do. I'm lucky enough to work with companies like Nike and adidas, who support the pursuit of great athletic photography. I also am privileged to work with dancers, many from the Oregon Ballet Theatre, creating images that are all about motion. For me, motion is a great way to tell a story, even with a single image. Whether or the not I stop the motion, or allow it to blur, it's a always about a moment in time that has a definitive before and after. It's the storytelling aspect of motion that I think is the most appealing to the viewer - it engages and draws you in, making you wonder, even if it's subconsciously, about the the surrounding before and after moments.
